Blackline softail
I ask a question to all those who call Harley's "parts bin bikes" in a derogatory sense to answer this question for me:
How would one build a bike that has "old school", "traditional" or "retro" styling and NOT make it look like it was just a bunch of old parts thrown together?
I mean, Honda, Victory, Yamaha, Suzuki and others have "cruiser" style bikes but either they, in no way, look "old school" (Victory) or they look like a copy of a Harley...which is a bunch of "Parts from the old parts bin" thrown together.
Then, when Harley comes out with something off the wall, like the Vrod, people claim "Oh, I don't like the Vrod because it doesn't look like a Harley should." or that it's "ugly" like the Rocker C and don't buy it.
To me it sounds like some people don't know WHAT the hell they want. Again, no one in particular but this just seems to be a recurring theme.
To me, the Blacklie is deifferent enough to distinguish it from the other softails yet maintain the look that defines Harley.

Just not sure if I could deal with the bars...
Other than that, I'd prolly be all in!

What is wrong with boosting sales? If they didnt come out with new models everyone would be complaining about that too
