Default Thinking about a 2011 Deluxe

How much did you pay for your 2011 Deluxe? Any idea how much markup is in one? I like the 2-tone black and white. Going to the dealership this weekend, your advice is appreciated.

Call up the dealers around your area. See if they have one in stock so you know where to go and compare OTD prices.

If they know you are looking elsewhere, they just might be willing to work with you for the sale.

If this is your first piece of homework among many good luck. If you are planning on rolling in and buying it this weekend plan on getting porked.

I would go on line to the dealership websites in your area and request a quote. Take those #'s with you and start playing the dealerships off of eachother. See what they are each willing to throw in to sweeten the deal. The dealedships benefit if you finance thru Harley. If you do finance thru Harley make sure the dealership gives you a perk for that. The other thing you can do is get financing secured thru a credit union or bank, get the deal with Harley financing then refinance the bike with your credit union at a lower rate.

Things you can get as part of the deal: some scheduled service, oil changes, storage (if that's an issue for you), HOG membership

Do some research on-line to get the ballpark pricing @ http://www.harley-davidson.com/en_US...xe.html#/specs

MSRP for two-tone color is $17,494 & add freight ($335) + security pkg (if equipped = $1195) so you're looking at close to $17,829 - $19,024...good luck w/your search.
