They are from Canada, the Praries I believe, so the prices sound about right. The dealership in Ontario where I traded in my 05 1200 Sporty with 44,000 kilometers are asking $9,800.00 for it. It is still there almost a year later, lol.
Here's the orginal post. Guess their selling higher up there
I am not sure if I am in the right place or not lol, but I am hoping someone can help me out.
I am trying to sell my husbands 2007 Night Train for him. I think he might be asking to much for it so I am asking you guys what you think it might be worth or what you would pay for a bike like his.
First off, I am located in Alberta, Canada.
2,200km on it
Black Pearl Paint
Stage 1 upgrade with screaming eagle pipes
Rider Essential Kit (windshield, backrest, fender rack)
Warranty until Nov. 2013
Yeah I am from Alberta, Canada and everything here is expensive. Right now a gallon of milk is $5!
My husband paid close to $26k for his bike brand new and still owed $12k on it.It also only had 2,200km on it.
My mother in law had a radical paint job on hers and was also selling the original fenders and tank. She paid $18,900 for hers (which I think it crazy) and still owed $8,800 on it. Her bike only had 10,445km on it
Just about everything south of the border is atleast 20% less than it is in Canada. Maybe even 30% on some items and up to 50% on clothing. With the CDN $$ being on the plus side of the USD right now it makes a TON of sense to do some internet shopping.
Never thought about till just now but my Diet Miller beer is cheaper than milk. That explains why I drink more beer than milk. Well that and the fact that Milk gives me the squirts.
