I just still find it hard to believe it can get through all the people that should have checked it over before taking it home including the owner and guys that uncrated it that are supposed to check it over. Either they're not doing their job or can't see ****.

I can believe it. I have seen a brand new low rider, that was bought from Harley of spartanburg,sc, with miss match vin numbers. The numbers on the neck didn't match the sticker on the frame. They had to order a frame and cut the neck off the old frame and send it back.

Wait....what?
Are you freaking kidding me? Look at the reflection of those saddle bags in your pic, did you photoshop those legs in? I copied in to my ultra-high, supersonic, cosmic coagulator, enlarged by 14 trillion (equal to the nation debt), then solorized and polorized it, and shazaam- your legs. You're an idiot. Go ride...somewhere else.
I believe you. Most say leave it but I would get the thing righted. It looks as stupid as the stoned idiot at the factory and the idiot quality control folks who missed it.
I just bought a 2011 Ultra Classic from Southside Harley Davidson in Virginia Beach. The bike was delivered to the dealer from the factory with the left side gas tank emblem upside down. Needless to say, it's covered under warranty and I can get it fixed at no cost to me during the next two years. My first question is, how rare is this? Has anyone ever seen or heard of this happening before from HD? None of the employees at the dealership (some been there for 20 years) have heard of this before. I think it's great and makes for a good conversation piece, not to mention how it will be fun to mess with people about it. My second question is, should I leave it, or let HD fix it?
Troll my ***...get a load of the pic. So is it a keeper, or should I have it repaired? I'm thinking of keeping it. I'm going to have some fun with it. And I'm not shy to keep the snot nosed little ba**tards from touching it.
Ok, so since I don't like being called a fraud, I took another picture. This one should do it. Looks like no pixilation this time. Plus really take a look at the refection of my knee in the tank and the emblem.
Here you go doubting bros. I scanned it then of course had to reduce the size for the upload to accept it so I hope you can read it. In not, I could really give a sh*t if anyone believes it or not, I was just looking for a few opinions...can't believe I spent this much effort today when I should have been riding.
I would call Corporate, send them a few photos, & ask them for an explanation?? I would get it fixed though, it looks crazy. It's the kind of craziness that could make the bike worth a fortune a few years down the road. With that being said maybe you should think about it for a minute. It might be worth leaving it alone

Well I saw the 2nd and 3rd pic, I believe you now. The 2nd pic made me believe though. I guess that simple mistake would be hard to miss and you only a few post starting a thread like that most won't take it serious. It happens a lot and I haven't even been here that long, only 3-4 months.
I actually tested the size reduction on one of my pics, it seems to only do that on something shiny like chrome. I just never seen that before, even on zoomed in pics, guess I never zoomed in on chrome pieces like that before.

To be fair to Southside HD in Virginia Beach, they did find it when they uncrated it. They immediately put in a work order to order the emblem to repair it. When I came in and was looking at the bike they pointed it out to me. It was the only black one and I wanted it. So as long as they were going to fix it when the emblem came in I was ok with buying that way. I have the work order and it is to be repaired as warranty work. I'm just thinking now that I may keep it that way because everyone seems to like it and I'm having some fun with it. Ride safe.
