Mick will tell you straight up the way it is. He will give you a paint job for less money, but you will get what you pay for. After visiting his shop and seeing all his work in person I completely understand why the cost is what it is. The pictures on his site are nice but everything looks so much nicer in person. I could swear he transferred a photograph onto the bike as sit was so perfect. I have seen one set of tins go through an entire transformation for blank to completely painted and it was amazing.

I have no problem paying a premium for a quality paint job as he says, you do get what you pay for. Ask a place that is less expensive how many coats of clear they put on. It will not be 8 coats.

The pics look good but everything is 100 times nicer in person. My advice is to save up for a quality paint job as less expensive jobs tend to crack, peel, bubble, have orange peel in them and the list goes on. Call him and ask him about how many people come to him to have their less expensive paint jobs fixed after they start to show their cheapness.

I completely understand that the expensive "CUSTOM" jobs are well worth the money for a show bike, but not for a daily rider just trying for that custom look, Yeah I would love to have "THAT" p job that everyone drools over. AND if I thought it made sense to put a "CUSTOM" p job on a "NON SHOW BIKE". Rest assurred Drew I would not need to "save up"!

I mean, "get over yourself" Drew. He did ask for recommendations and suggestions!
I even tried to be of assistance, but I will not post again on one of his links! Promise that!

I don't believe I've ever heard anyone call someone a maroon... but if Cou9ar is in fact an American Indian, I would have to conclude that you have crossed a racial barrier, Turbo. Watch it. This forum has rules about those sorts of things.

Try http://www.attitudecustompainting.com/ They sometimes have a sale on his paint jobs. I had mine done for $1200.
They will quote you a price on their paint jobs.

You asked for information and IMO you got what you asked for. That opinion was offered politely from a professional who was trying to help you. You were doing so well up until the last two sentences! No one questioned your net worth....or your ability to pay as I read the posts. You asked about the cost, not Drew. Relax.... if money is not one of your problems then why ask about the cost? Just do it! and if you get a **** job hey just strip it down and do it again...after all...you don't have to save up remember!

That was uncalled for and pretty rude to boot.

Mine cost my friend $ 1,000.00, in Okinawa Japan. Guy did a hell of a job and I like it allot. I did have the ability to give him all the time he needed to do.
