I found something that will play Go Pro vids in XP or Vista
Friend of mine bought a Go Pro HD recently, and I spent the day making his XP machine play the mp4's.
He had to get a graphics card (because of lack of video memory), so I installed that for him and then took on the playback task. After numerous fruitless attempts in trying to make the windows player play them, I noticed he had Realplayer on his machine.
Played one of the vids and got sound, so I figured that was encouraging. Updated his Realplayer, and bingo.....it plays mp4's on a XP machine.
