harley add

I agree, its a very good commercial. Much better than the guy claiming to own the V-Rod to impress some passing women.
have ask other people what they thought and nobody really got it maybe i'm senile also I know i;m old
My favorite is the one where it shows several guys, one by one, leaving their dates for the night at the front door. No kiss, no squeeze, just "Good night." Then, you hear a woman moaning, giggling, and it shows the next house.......there is a Harley sitting out front, with a bra slung across the tank.....and the TV voice says....."Yeah.....it's different on a Harley."
PRICELESS!

I like Terry's reply although I don't necessarily agree with it totally. I say that because many (maybe most) of us really like to think of ourselves as black sheep. Or at least like thinking that others view us that way. Kind of like being "rugged individualists" - that sort of thing.
Truth is, most of us couldn't afford to really be black sheep. Having to earn a living wouldn't allow it. Along with that comes all those other responsibilities, i.e., raising a family, being a parent, etc., etc. But we do enjoy donning the trappings of a black sheep....at least on the weekends if we can find the time.
There aren't many real black sheep. Real black sheep don't play well with others and usually don't last very long themselves unless they finally conform to some degree. Not like the hordes of most Harley riders - all looking alike and generally behaving the same way whenever we can escape from our "normal" lives and the mundane, everyday demands made upon us. Its nice being a black sheep (or at least looking like one) once in awhile!
Harley surprised a lot of folks with their "creed" video and the last two TV ads. I'm sure it will pay off for them in increased cycle sales since we all have that primal cord inside that likes the idea of being really different...even though we aren't...really.
You have spoken like a very wise old man, if that is a picture of you
in your post young man, you are very wise for your not so many years.
99% of Harley riders are wanna be bad azz's like Marlin Brando, they
dress the same, act the same and most of their bikes look the same..
Playing Mr. Dress up for a weekend once in a while has become very
big business for Harley Davidson...
There is nothing wrong with this at all as long as the 99% steer clear
of the 1%ers because they have no love for the Mr. Dress up crowd!
I've rode motorcycles over 40 years and well over 1 million miles I've
been there seen most of it, you young man are very wise for your age.
Great post!! very well said my friend"

..... Harley is finally doing something anti establishment. It use to be they wanted everyone to believe that we were just like everyone else and they wouldn't even sell a T-shirt with a skull on it. They are finally giving us what we want. I like it.

With more money than GM, Dodge, or Ford; Harley-Davidson has become the establishment.
