Spring Bugs are Out
Short overnight road trip with the wife and friends this weekend.
Touring Friday afternoon, Farm to Market Rd, doing about 65mph, a f---ing wasp (?) clung onto my helmet chin strap right below my left jaw and proceeded to sting the dukie out of my neck. I pulled it off and tossed it. It raised a red, nasty knot about the size of a golf ball. It's down to about zit size today.
Then Saturday morning on a State Hwy doing about 75mph, a wasp hit the inside of my right knee, shot up and through my helmet face shield,
existed by the left ear, but hung onto the strap. My wife knocked it off.
Lots of other juicy bugs exploding on the windshield..... yea, Spring is here.
