Got so excited readin' this twaddle I forgot to say that on a Sloptail with a regular fender ya can't remove the rear wheel 'cause the lift doesn't get it high enough. But if I position the bike in the doorway of my shop, with the wheel on the ramp, it'll gitrdun.
I got this one made out of pipe years ago that cost me next to nothing, use it all the time on the softail, either on the front or rear but not over the shockies. Lifts the wheels off the ground and pulls apart for easy storage.
OK, sorry. I was having a Senior moment. Fraid my first Harley was 39 years ago, and my second 35 years ago. Does pretentious snob work better than snooty these days?
No wait. It came back! Stuck up a..hole. That's what we used to say. Jeez am I goin over the hill.
You know, I made one of these things months ago and have not used it yet. I will, but so far just have not had the need to. When I store my bike for the winter I will most likley use it to center the bike up straight on. Crude, but practical.

Heck, let's just stir it up some more: Yer a friggin' wannabe sidewalk commando RUB jerkwad if'n you don't overhaul yer bike with a screwdriver, 16 inch adjustable wrench, ball pein hammer, and baling wire.
Pass the popcorn; this stuff is funny.
What the heck..............I can't afford no baling wire....its coat hangers fer me!
