When my daughter was 3 years old she saw her first live clown at a carnival. She love the clown and talked about it for days. I asked her if she wanted to be a clown and she said yes until she saw herself in the mirror.
When one of our daughters was young she decided she wanted to do something nice for my wife for mother's day. She washed the car with an SOS pad. We do laugh about it now :-)
Bikes are great, but time passes so fast I would cherish this and laugh about it later.
I know frustrating but she was helping daddy. My grandson has little tennis shoe marks and little hand prints all over mine, and we sit on it every day! I feel for you but wish I was in your shoes and my kids were little again. God I miss that.
Not on a cycle but... Grandad was an auto body guy. Really good at it. Restored vehicles in our back garage. When my uncle was a kid he saw grandpa working a hammer and dolly over a few dings in body panels and decided to help out with his own hammer. Grandpa chased a few dents until he realized what was happening.
Later, when I was a kid, got in trouble when I did a hood slide like Luke Duke across Grandpa's '67 Camaro RS. The rivets in wranglers were pretty rough on the recently restored and painted hood. (oops!) My butt got painted with a belt shortly after!!!
