Huh? Wow, local weather guy was saying that the northeast will be getting slammed with a nor'easter and a foot of snow tomorrow. Guess it is just another typical weatherman exaggeration.
Yup..woke up....just drizzled last night, not a sign of white stuff on the ground. Up north in CT..there was a dusting..like 1/2 inch. Can't speak for VT and NH...they may have gotten more.
The forecast for the weekend has it only 50 degrees..I'm sad, 'cut the local "biker bar" down in the marina district a mile from me has their spring opening night tonight. Wife probably won't hop on the back to head down there if it's only 50, she requires 60 and up temps.
Plus, the area where the bikes park..1/4 acre of lawn...will be wet 'n muddy.
Will be heading out soon to ride into Arizona to the Temple Bar Marina on Lake Mead for lunch. Gotta go early as their forecasting a high of 98 degrees at the lake. Sorry for your east coast chitty weather.
Sure as hell had to clear the snow out of the driveway again this morning, still snowing here now almost 10am, I would just like to see sun and 50deg., is that asking to much. take care everyone, have fun riding.
Nice day here too....snow, sleet and ice. Good news is the next two days are supposed to be around 50 and sunny. Just hoping they don't throw down a ton of salt today.
A steady snow here in Philly all morning and a wopping 38 degrees outside. Thankful nothing stuck to the ground. It will warm up soon enough. Meanwhile, the bike is remaining real shiney.
Yesterday was around 80, rode down from the hills, no longjohns, just levis and t'shirt and cut of course....
Felt good riding and not being all bundled up....
Last Saturday I rode to the Vets return to Berkley, we left 0630 in the morning dark and rainey....
Today is supposed to be 83....
The big storm turned out to be a big April fools joke. They called for a foot of snow, maybe got 2-3 inches. It is all ready melting, won't even bother to shovel. As long as they didn't salt the roads, I'll be riding again in a couple of days. I still would rather live over here.
Weird weather here south of he Mason Dixon Line in Delaware with snow flurries this morning, but today's high is 50 degrees. Looking at 70's next week. It's been strange since we've been almost 80 degrees already this year and then snow flurries on Opening Day!
