He'd have to plead not guilty before the prosecutors and lawyers will get together to work out something less. It's pretty standard procedure and not surprising at all.
I think he'll get some major stuffs happening to him, but probably not as bad as most of us would. Lots of money seems to lessen the blow of criminal acts.
I have no idea what sort of person he is, but I never liked his bikes much. Most of these guys are artists and not really bike builders. What sort of bike builder worth his salt would build a bike that wouldn't start and then set fire to your azz when you finally did get it running?
I was at his shop last week and although he was there he was too busy to take a photo with my 2 boys........I was a little disappointed(being over 900 miles away from home) but I also understand.
he had his cell phone to his ear the whole time we were there......
Thats expected, Hell the guy here in Atlanta that overpowered a court balif during his RAPE trail and shot and killed the judge and two others and all caught on video pleaded NOT GUILTY!!!! WTF

That's what happens when you have one dainty female deputy escorting a violent felon to court under minimal restraint. Whoever made that call is the one that needed shooting.
Normally on any Felony charge no matter what degree the Judge will enter a not guilty plea on your behalf. This is to allow you to either hire an attorney or for the court to appoint a pauper attorney.
Which I think is BS anyway. If you are guilty and want to plea to it then do so. 9 times outta 10 the attorneys will work out a deal for a lesser offense.
However you want to look at it, he was driving drunk and murdered innocent fellow riders. He is an azzwipe and I hope his azz rots in jail for the rest of his life. AND NO, it could not have happened to anyone. Not everyone drives drunk passing in a double line. Frickin azzhole.
IMO there should be no pleading not guilty in a cut in dry case like this. I don't care if it is for a plea. He was in the truck. He was driving it. He was drunk. He illegally passed another vehicle. He killed an innocent man while doing all of the above. What more needs to be said. Time for sentencing. Period. End of story.

Judge - Jury - Executioner. I'm with you.
I don't think he should spend the rest of his life in jail though... that just means I gotta support his azz with free room and board and medical until he dies. Sentence him to a life of indebtedness to the victim's family. A bazillion years of community service. Locking him up just means "we" have to take care of him.
