Folks, If I recall correctly, I've seen advice here that recommends against removing the sticker on the down tube in the front of the bike. I think the reasoning is that it has your VIN on it, etc.
I removed mine on the Dog and just stuck it in my manual. I have yet to remove it from the SG. I have heard that you can't go to Canada with out it on... who know's. I can't imagine you NOT being able to remove it, what happens if you powder coat the frame a diff color....
Scroll down and there's the info on what the numbers mean, and the requirements of the manufacturer. I couldn't find any info on whether or not the sticker, or reflectors, blinkers, etc, have to remain on the bike.
