Exclamation Helmet help!

Geetings, i am really hopeing i can find some help here... i just got to Germany and will be picking up my Bran New 2011 Wide Glide on Friday. Only problem is, the helmet i got for Christmas (http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US) is not labled as being ECE specs. It is Snell and everything I have seen Snell has more rigged certs then ECE but it has to be ECE here. The manufacture is hongjin (beijing) Sports Goods, but i cant find any contact info for them to get something that says my helmet meets ECE specs. can anyone help me with this? My helmet was manufactured June 2010. I would really like to get someething in writing saying it meets ECE so that i dont have to buy a new helmet for this, IMO STUPID!, reason. Any and all help is more then welcome...

Thank you.

If it's not Snell 2010 listed, it's not better than ECE 22.05

That said, use it until you run into issues and need to replace it.

You shouldn't have any problem. But just in case you do, you might want to print yourself a nice certificate in fancy writing certifying that it's ECE compliant. Get creative. Use a nice font, on a certificate with the model, make, color, size, and put in some gee whiz wango dango and then put it in plastic to show the officials IF you ever need it. The longer you have, the older and more worn it becomes, the better it will be in producing the desired results. I'm NOT saying you should lie, that would be bad, just get creative and artistic with the ole PC. I'm sure you can cut and paste the ECE specs right off of their web site to ensure compliance. What do you think they invented computers for? LoL
