I love that sound. I don't want to lose it. I know the shift was complete every time I hear it. If you ever miss is shift, you will know it before releasing the clutch because you won't here that kerchunk.
What he said. Clunk is normal on a HD. 03 Heritage? Unless it has been tended to you will have to deal with a timing chain/shoe wear problem in another possible 10,000 to 20,000 miles.
