I have a question. I've reading through this forum and if I understand it right most people that bought jackets at DavidJacket or any other china site are happy with that item. Is that right??
I do not want to start up the discussion if the jackets are real or not but i would like to know if they are of good quality and if they look alike the "real" HD jackets. I came across a lot of sites that sell the jackets for all different kind of prices.
For example DavidJacket , Eujacket, www.harleydavidsonus.com, helmetbikes.com
What I like is that helmetbikes has great prices and you can pay with creditcard.
Does anyone have any experience with them. Many thanks for the replies

Catch them when they are running a special and get a better quality jacket for the same price HD asks for.
You can always add Chinese made HD patches if you must have one with them.

Is this a serious question? Or am I missing something? Only way you are getting a American made Harley branded jacket is to look on Ebay to find a reeeeally old one. Pretty sure the China made Harley jackets are American designed if that helps.

A few years ago I saw a jacket at the HD dealership for $1100. I asked the sales lady what was so special about it since I had never seen a thousand dollar jacket. Her reply was "It's made in America." Crazy!

That's not my point.
You guys are arguing over the difference between a real chinese jacket and a fake chinese jacket.
They are both made in China!
If a guy wants a Harley jacket, but there all made in China, then how in the hell does he buy one made in America? he can't. That's the point.

Came from a dealership in Az. Even had the price tag of $469 on it!
It is an old design though, but says "Made in America" right on the tag in the collar. Guess I must have one of the last ones made.
$1100, no way, I'll sell it for a bargain at $999...
