i had a similiar problem a couple of years ago...turned out i had too much fluid in my inner ear. doctor changed the diuretic i was on for blood pressure and added another pill that i desolve on my tongue at bedtime. the crystals in my inner ears were also out of alignment and i went to a therapist that put me thru some exercises to re-align them. so far so good. keep looking, someone will be able to help you.

I haven't had any kind of experience with this problem, but I would say if the bike isn't causing you any kind of financial hardship, give therapy a chance, and if after a year or so no change, then you might want to consider selling it. In the meantime, put some fuel stabilzer in there, and hook up a battery tendor.

First off, I hope you get better. That sounds like a big quality of life issue, it must affect you in many different areas.

If you look at it logically, you already took it in the shorts just by buying the bike and putting 5K miles on it. If you add in all the accessories, insurance and the like, you'd be lucky if you could walk away loosing less than 30%. That's just the way it is on a bike, boat or any other expensive toy. Keeping it another year won't make a huge difference, so I would hold onto it if I could afford it.

If you can't afford to keep it, just sell it for what you can and don't look back. We all make expensive mistakes sometime in our lives. Just ask me about my ex-wife.

Worst case, trike it. Atleast you will still hit the road. Maybe stuff a 120R into it just to have a thrill.

I would keep it for another year, unless you need the money, it won't depreciate that much more in the next year.

Keep it you will only spend the cash and if all gets well and you want another it will be like starting all over again, expensive comes to mind.

I'm in a similar situation: bought my dream bike December 2009, put a few miles on, then we had historic snow storms, and by March I was waiting on back surgery. I haven't been the same since the surgery and still don't have the upper body strength back to lift my bike off its stand and move it around comfortably.

I feel sad and sick that my dream bike is sitting in the garage, but I'm holding on to the dream that I will be back on it, if not this summer, then by next.

Don't give up until you have to! I hope you find a solution.

Certainly hope all gets back to normal for ya. If not, ya might think about the Voyager docking kit for your bike. Sure would beat giving up riding all together.
