Good advice , DO NOT be afraid to counter offer high you can always meet in the middle and don't expect bennies are automatic discuss everything like health insurance ect. Every dealer I've dealt with was a weasel at these things not one was straight across the board that's why they discourage wage talk among employees .

I'm pretty sure the parts guys in at least one of the dealerships in my area (Brians) work on commission. They are super helpful and they always make sure the checkout people know they made the sale. They're so helpful I'm almost tempted to tip them

Locally, 12.00/hr starting pay, 90 days probation before any benefits are offered, and a full year before you can receive any vacation time. Locally you will work every other Saturday and again locally, there are summer hours which means a Sunday rotation. All dealers are different depending on where you live andthe local economy.

I especially like the ball peen hammer one, lol.
Just found out it's $9.00 hr. plus commission. I thought it would be more. I'll have to pass.

Around here it's 10 bucks an hour plus all the dope they can smoke.
