a big truck decided to yell "Woooo" at the top of his lungs as I passed by
Unfortunately I've gotten a lot of that kind of thing on my bicycle so im kinda used to it. People throwing all kinds of stuff out their car window also. Full soda cups, diet isn't as bad, its less sticky. Handfuls of change, old fruit. Makes me wonder what their problem is.
I waved at a guy on a scooter the other day. Thought it was a sport bike rider at first. Until I passed him. My buddy at work was following me and called me out on it too
I'm pretty sure I thought it was some other type of motorcycle too, but was too late by the time I realized it was a moped.

That's funny. He probably looks forward to seeing you every morning just so he can not wave at you. I bet he gets a kick out of it... lol. But I bet you are right, he must have slipped out of cop mode for a second.
I was a middle aged man on a scooter today and I got a bunch of waves!! Wife was looking to trade the scooter and get a real bike, so I drove it around to a few dealerships.
Around Dayton, OH just about all riders do the wave. Wife has a jeep and we get less waves from other jeep owns?? Area must have something to do with it!?!?!

From what i have seen the few cops that i have passed and waved at about 75% wave back.

we're on our 4th Jeep and the waves are getting less frequent. There more soccer moms in Jeeps these days than used to be. It used to be mostly 4WD, adventure types, but as the Jeeps got comfy, the buyers became more yuppy. Just like the harley croud.

I guess the world is just full of a-holes.
This makes me remember when I learned about karma when I was young. A group of my friends and me were driving back to one of our houses when we saw a guy we new from school. So we sped back to the house and grabbed anything and everything gross we could find, old meat, dog crap, eggs, pop and some urine to complete the drink. We then hopped back into car and went searching for him, never found him but found a guy off freeway onramp, I was driving about 45 and my friend put the cup out the window to throw it and well the guy didnt get any on him since it all flew back into my car all over us all. It was a long ride back to my house to detail my car.
ah wave threads!...i like to throw that two handed, excited, gay guy wave out there sometimes...no offense to anyone...and i wave to all harley guys, sportbike guys, and i know for a fact when your blasting down the road, and you throw a wave out to a guy on a moped...he gets STOKED! chest puffs up a bit , and you can almost here him smile...i love it...keep dreamin lil moped guy! one day....youll have a harley!
If I notice you... I'm waving. You don't have to wave back at me, nod your head or anything. I just love that feeling of being out there and sharing that open rode with you and if you're on two wheels and I see you I'm going to say hi. lol
