I want everyone's advice on this. I may be getting a new job in California and plan on taking both my truck and my Sportster, but I have run in to a probule with getting my motorcycle there. I want to rent a trailer to get the bike there, but UHaul will not rent a trailer to me (UHaul will not rent any trailers to any Ford Explores). Besides from having the bike shipped, does anyone know where I can rent a trailer for a one way trip? It does not have to be a motorcycle trailer but it has to be longer then 7'.
If you don't need an enclosed trailer, it might be cheaper for you to buy a used one on Craig's List or E-bay, and then just sell it once you get there.
