I use the HD two piece gear. Not a bad price, keeps you dry, and packs up to a nice small package that I never leave home without. My HD coat and pants do the trick for light showers anyways...
Bought a 2 piece set from HD similar to these. Really like them. The only bad thing is they don't fold up real small. Sometimes use them as a wind suit.
2 piece for sure....I have the Overpass and love it...yeah it can be a bit warm but damn i stay dry... This is my 6th suit and the best. The hi viz is really nice also
I have the two piece HD high visibility. It keeps me completely dry and I'm glad to have the high visibility in those conditions. The quality is good and I'm not afraid of it falling apart on me when I need it.
The question may be what kind of suit do you want? what do you expect from the suit....If you want a suit to keep you dry until you get home from a friends house or bike night etc....then a cheap suit may be ok for you.....
If you tour a lot then the odds are you will get caught in a frog strangler....as i and a friend did ....Rode from Asheville NC to Coastal NC in the hard rain all day and i must say i stayed dry all day in the overpass suit. The previous suits i had before ( Nelson Rigg, Tekni, First gear) did not keep me 100% dry. You do get what you pay for ...I can tell you that not only HD has great suits but you still get what you paid for.
