48 here. And I don't give a #*@^ if you want to call it a "geezer glide". What I say to those who would call me a geezer for riding an Ultra is that it really is just mind over matter... I don't Mind cause You Don't Matter.
hey flakdog i like the last part hope you dont mind me using that one liner next time someone has some smart a$$ remark.
like i said before i would trade my 07 ultra for any other make or model out there because it the beans (<slang for cool) (< slang for i like it).
I have a Geezer Glide - (The Electra Glide Standard version though) - honestly - I'm 40 now, but would have bought one at age 18 if I had the motorcycle endorsement and could have afforded it back then! ......it's my second Harley (started riding at age 35), had a Sportster to learn on, but needed something bigger for longer distance - - but from here on out, it'll always be a Touring Bike for me!

Just turned 45.....got off a Wide Glide⢠& onto a Street Glideâ˘.....why I waited so long I have no clue.
18, don't have one yet but I will as soon as my dyna is sold, not in a big hurry cause winter is coming. When I get it I want to make it look something like this.
53 and 131k miles on the clock. That's why I ride one. Oh and the name says it all .......ULTRA Classic. I could damn well afford to by a lesser bike but why? It does everything I want to do comfortably and quite ably. Ok there are days the thought of a Fat Boy come to mind but then I go out and sit on the pillow seat, crank "Freebird" on the stereo and away I go. And if it rains? I got plenty of space to store a rain suit and that big old fairing and windshield keep the rain off as does the lowers. Ad in cruise control and what more could you ask for?
My first "geezer glide" was a Road Glide at age 45.
But keep in mind that one of the reasons that tourers seem more popular with "older" riders is the cost. The entry price of a new Harley bagger is beyond the budget for many younger riders. At least I keep telling myself that.
And the best part of it is....If you put a lid on it you have a cadillac!!!!
