I keep a few bandannas in the tour pack and usually one on top of my noggin to keep the skin from burning, since I cut my hair so short. Bandannas are good for any number of things, from wiping sweat, to wiping oil or bugs of the scooter. Take a spare one and put a couple of cubes of ice in and tie it to keep them on your neck on a hot day to cool off for a while. They're a useful little item, and I keep plenty of them.
Got one & wear it sometimes on hot days to soak some of the sweat under helmet. Seems to work, but definitely messes w/the hair so all you pretty boys who want to de-throne bike & look like Fabio...beware...
I wear them as a headband on every ride. I have long hair, and if you don't wear a helmet and hairbands, you're up for a painfull combing. To each his own, all those supermanly guys on here will give me direction, that's why I'm here. Thanks in advance, tough bikers.
