Deuce gas tank

I have an '07 FXSTD Deuce with a dent in the tank (I bought it like that).
Will an '04 tank from an FXSTD slip straight on or is the '07 model unique in any way that does not allow previous years to interchange with it?
Owner says that it was from a fuel injected model.

if its injected and yours is injected should fit fine

Ya might check the online parts manual for part numbers. Its up there in the stickies on this section
