All you need to do if ride a bike to be look down upon. I ride a standard or street fighter type of bike for my daily commuting and still get looked down upon.

I raise my daughters to think for themselves when it comes to picking friends, including boyfriends. I won't always be around to protect them so they have to learn to judge for themselves now. Unless a guy is abusing them, I say nothing. I treat all of their friends with respect and never suggest that I would ever do anyone harm. So far it has worked well.
