I love my Street Bob, but already know my next one will be a Street Glide. Hopefully I will be able to keep both.

I'd love to have both.

In Awesome World....
I'd Keep the Deluxe
Add Shotgun Shock
Add 21" Front and 18" rear

Buy a Street Glide and just put exhaust on it and a sissy bar and it would be for my wife and I.

Judging by the style your after on the Deluxe...I guarantee you would not stop with just exhaust and sissy bar with a Glide

I feel your pain. I rode one and it was the best riding bike in the line up IMO, and I've ridden about every bike. I have a buddy that tells me all the time, "go ahead, it's only money." I haven't listened yet. Funny, he hasn't either. His bike is a 2000 and mine is a 2002. I am saving for a few more years to have both.

I have 1000 miles on my 2011 Deluxe and I have been thinking about trading it in since I got off of the SG. In Awesome World, I'd be able to pick one up, but I just can't justify coming up with $6K+ to get into the SG. Maybe someday......
I wouldn't ride my buddies 2011Road Glide Ultra CVO when I was offered as I knew I would be tied in knots trying to figure out how to come up with 40K for one. I hate looking at the thing as it beckons me. I will never ride it until I have the money to buy one.

We all know softails kick *** anyway when set up properly. The novelty of music wears off, believe me. At lesat it did for me. There si nothing like a clean, lowered softail doen up nicely. Put it next to a bagger and the softail will always get more attention. Put some miles on that bike.

2 things I could care less about when I bought my Glide. 1. Music, and 2. Cruise control. Now these are 2 things I will always have on a bike. I use to say the same thing about listening to the pipes and road, but once you start adding music, its hard to go without. I recently lost my speakers and am waiting on new ones and it's driving me crazy
