I stopped last week to see if a feller with European type leathers on a big ol BMW needed help. He had more damn electronics on his bars than the CIA owns. He said he was just adjusting his GPS so he could figure out where he was. So I took off... and almost crashed in a fit of gales of hysterical laughter Ride on, Brother!

Darn...my issue hasn't shown up yet..
True story, when my wife and I went on our first day long trip, we pulled to the side of the road to take a break for about 5 minutes. We was amazed at how many riders (& Non-HD Riders) stopped to make sure we were ok....so now we make sure that we do the same.
I read that article to. I helped out a guy early this spring who ran out of gas. He seemed a little freaked out at first, but I gave him a ride to next exit to get gas, but he wanted to walk back. I guess he didn't want to look like a hom riding on the back of some guys bike.

My wife and I were on a ride to the Oregon coast in Feb of 06 and it was darn cold. We stopped in a small little town by the name of Amity, OR to warm up. Just pulled over to allow some of the motor heat to filter up to warm our legs some. A guy immediately pulled over on a custom Harley and asked if we needed help. He lived in the town and chatted with us about the open primary he had just installed and then we were off on our trip. My wife and I were quite impressed with this event, we had just bought our first Harley and we were introduced to a family of darn nice people.
I have helped several riders on the road either in my cage or on the bike. The last one the ol' boy ran out of gas and I could not help him at the time due to both my wife and I were on our scooter. So the next best thing was to Nextel a buddy and had gas delivered to him, then the spouse and I took off due to the amount of traffic building. I like ya and all but gotta keep the misses safe. Worked out great and and when my buddy got there the ol' boy couldn't belive I did that, had the gas delivered, he thought it was a joke. That the type of camaraderie that bikers have regardless of type scooter.
