I think everyone has had one of those days where your skills are just off. Tomorrow is another day.

Ridin in a charity ride on nice sunny day. About 35 bikes. Were in a long slow sweeping turn in the boonies. The next thing I know, I'm outta the turn, in the wrong lane heading for the beanfield.
Got control, (no oncoming traffic, thank God) pulled back in line. Next stop the dude I was riding next to said, WTF? Told him I had a sleep disorder... Road crew said, "good recovery" and off we went. Point is, I have no idea, to this day, what happened. Musta been in that Twilight Zone

get hammered, flip off a cop and let him chase you through traffic. do a rooster tail in the new grass they just planted in the city park and rub your crotch and waggle your tongue at the next female senior citizen that pulls up beside you at a traffic light. this should get all your critical thoughts out of your mind and remind you its all fun...dont be so critical..its not a golf game is riding......
as long as you dont get a road kill carcass between your front tire and fender and sling funk all over you, your horn doesnt get stuck while your are riding past the dominant club in your state, and that last fart seems to be a little juicy you had a good day....

Why do you pull in the clutch in turns? I approach the turn by looking thru it, then once past the apex I apply power to come out. Not sure if this is the correct way but it works for me.

At roads like the Dragon, I go into the corners saying to myself in my head "don't touch the brakes" trust the tires and counter steer. It helps me. I have a poor memory and must remind my self at every turn.

Just did 900 miles of the PCH from Washington to Calif. That road is far more challenging than the dragon. Just as many twists per mile, rough road, cold cold winds, fog, logging trucks and steep drop offs at the turns with no guard rails. I was beat at the end of each day but I no longer had to remind myself of what to do.
