I took it to the dealership an they said I brought it in just in time because the tread depth barley passed for getting a new tire... Which I got no charge. HD did do quite a bit of warranty associated with the Compensator problem on the 07 motors... Compensator assembly, Clutch assembly, starter, startor.
Not with me here at work...but will find it and PM it to you this afternoon after I get home.

Thanks OrangeVette... It's been a good deal for me so far... though it was paid for by the previous owner...

I ahve it on mine with the extra tire warranty. cost me $1000 for 3 years. I blew out the rear tire coming back on my AZ trip. I was 50 miles from the nearest dealership, Pierre SD. it covered my hotel, $115, tire, tow, and labor. out of a $800 bill it cost me nothing. Had the service department put rear break pads in while it was apart. that was the only thing that cost me.

I think it was worth it. there is a cap on the tow of $200. I got my insurance to cover the overage.

When I bought my '03 ultra, the previous owner had bought the extended warranty and had it transferred to me. I read thru the packet of stuff and it seems they will not cover what they consider normal wear and tear, and maintenance items like, brakes, bulbs, battery, oil and filters, air filters, and tires unless you pay for that coverage above and beyond the std policy. The will not repair or replace anything that was damaged in an accident like a broken lever or switch housing. I had to bring it to the dealer once to have the master cylinder fixed ,and it was covered. It got hard to understand when they give a example like if the transmission explodes, it may cover the repair to the transmission, but not the cost of the transmission oil. Some motor mods may cause a question of,what exactly caused the damage to the motor. It can give the moco a reason to deny a warranty claim only if they can prove the damage was caused by the performance part or the workmanship. But should only effect say the motor part of the warranty. Not the entire warranty. When I was having the master cyl rebuilt, I told them to replace the nut on the odometer reset button, it had popped off and the switch fell into the dash. They wanted to charge me a 1/2 hour labor to put it back on but just charged me for the nut. i guess it pays to moan a little now and then.,,
