Just a sign of the times for many riders today. Gotta have something new and different every few weeks or they get bored and want to move on to some other brand or model. I say let em go.
Honestly, I don't see a thing about the 12s that excites me . The MoCo is really stinking it up . It's like they have become George Castanza , and just decided to wear sweat pants . Rearrange a few parts, add a color, remove a color, and here ya go, loyal buyers....your 2012 models!!!!
You must be relatively new to Harley, well let me tell you they usually don't change much from year to year. Some auto manufactures may completely redesign their vehicles every couple of years but not Harley, they find what works and stick with it, making minor improvements along the way. With the most loyal customers in the world, Harley-Davidson must be doing something right.
The longer the MOCO doesnt impress me.. The longer my deuce is the nicest bike out there... Until then my deuce is staying in my garage and I won't be in a dealer buying something else..
I love the fact that a 10 year old Harley looks as good as a new one. I'm not big on changing barleys appearance. If I want to make changes of course that's fine. Lol

I really liked the changes for 2012 but I don't like the colors at all.
+1 I think the significant reduction of the color palette is a cost saving decision. It saves them money to give us less choices. As an owner of a "funky" colored (as another poster put it) custom color bike, I think it is too bad that the choice are down to black, blue, red and silver for most bikes.
