The ones that don't like it must have short memories or were not born yet when the original FX came out. It was built by taking bags, windsheild, etc. off of a bagger and putting on sportster forks. So whats wrong with replacing what was taken off years ago?............The newer baggers are much bigger and heavier than they need to be and lots of us love this Retro approach.
The more I see pictures of it, the more I like it. In fact, I'm beginning to like it enough that I would actually consider buying another Harley now. I even like the wheels.
I agree. I also really like the look of it without the bags and shield. To me, this bike seems to have the potential to attract more buyers than the previous FXRT and FXDXT's did.
I briefly considered selling or trading in my Super Glide earlier this year for a Blackline or Heritage but this bike makes me glad I waited. If I do get serious about a new bike this may be the one.

It's just you. It isn't ugly or stupid looking and it's not a bad idea.
I'm sure it's not just me. I am sure there are others that feel the same way.
Maybe my wording wasn't clear, this is my opinion of the bike. Ugly and stupid. But, others may love it. Some may think my RG is ugly (well, maybe it is just a little). I understand beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
