Did anyone else get the Harley Davidson Christmas apparel flyer in the mail recently? Hey, I love Harley's, but talk about gay... A few more advertisements like that and I'm not telling anyone I own a Harley.

If you missed the memo, here's a recap; IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! Harley is a big old ***** when it comes to self promoting their bottom line. They push their name and sell their trademark rights to everybody who makes anything and is willing to put the harley logo on it. The only time I know of they bought back their rights to sell a product was from Loramar tobbaco for the Harley Davidson cigerettes because they were getting bad feedback from the non-smoker sector and were afarid it would impact sales.

maybe its an advertising campaign to tie in with the recently announced HD brand Beef Jerkey...

there is a strong "Rob Halford" element to the harley marketing. heck, here is a picture of him on a harley. i think they modeled the bulk of harley's "i believe" video on judas priest costumage, such these photos:
