3/4 helmet recommendations

In my 40 years of riding, I've had all sorts of helmets. I just bought my first Shoei, and I love it. Fits well, very quiet. A little bit more money, but as usual, you get what you pay for.

I have a 3/4 Harley made by HJC. I like it. But I would buy it off the HJC site because it is cheaper for the same helmet.

I'm wearing the Bell Custom 500. This helmet has exceeded my expectations. It's light and not huge on my head. Best helmet I've ever had...

HJC - Not For Me!
I have a 3/4 HJC, not sure of the model #, I don't particularly care for. It has front and rear vents that when opened rattle like crazy! My 1/2 helmet is quieter going down the highway doing 60. I'll wear it late fall thru early spring. As long as the vents stay closed.
Is this a common problem or am I just lucky? I'd be interested to know.
