Skip the water cooling and use oil cooling as Suzuki did for many years on their GSXR and GSX models - you keep the cooling fins for both appearance and aesthetic reasons and use an oversize oil cooler.
The vrod engine lacks power and torque to drive the heaver harley bikes, but i think they will make the vrod engine with more power for their new line up. I think watercooled is the way to go. Like anything else they require regular maintance or they will overheat. I like the concept bikes providing they don't sacrifice the way the present day bikes handle. THIS CHANGE OVER TO WATERCOOLED MAY MAKE THE OLDER HARLEYS WORTH MORE. I HOPE SO. I BOUGHT A NEW HERITAGE IN 09 HOPING IT WOULD HOLD ITS VALUE, AND FOR OTHER REASONS OF COURSE, BIG SUPRISE IT HASN'T.
