Iv'e been pulled over once, by der Polize at about 0130hrs. My girlfriend, now wife was not wearing a helmet, a big no-no in Germany. After a little talk, they let me off with a verbal warning, and she had to walk home.

 

I can persdonaly attest to the fact that you not only get pulled over you also get tickets on a bike. i also have heard of people who have never been in jail freeking amazing

 

I've never been locked up more than a few hours in the drunk tank.

 

Quite a few times I've ridden down I-95 at 90 and had cops running radar wave as I went by. Sometimes I was by myself, sometimes with a friend.
Once I had a cop almost pull out in front of me while I was riding that fast. He was gonna chase a car. He saw me at the last second...but he was halfway into my lane...Good thing I took a dump just before leaving home that day...
I think it scared him as much as me, because he never went after the car, just sat there for a while after getting off the road.

 

As a former LEO, I have stopped bikes, but have actually written\ more tickets to snowmobiles than bikes.
