Default Passenger Floorboard Position

My wife has bad knees and just getting on and off the bike is a issue for her. But also, the position of the boards keeps her legs bent at 90 degrees while riding and it's uncomfortable for her.

Do they make extensions that lower the boards a few inches? And if they do, how much more heat from the pipe/cat is she going to experience?

Just want to make sure you know there are 3 different positions for the passenger boards.
Do you have them in the lowest position?

My wife is 5' 11", and moving them down to the lowest position made a big difference.

My wife has arthritis in one of her knees and anything over 50 miles bothered her.

I put a set of extenders from Harlie Goodies on and ithelped her big time.

Uh, sure, I knew that! LOL No, I really didn't. I appreciate the info. Something for me to look up in the manual and try to adjust it for her.

Thanks a bunch!!!!

It's easy.Remove the socket head cap screw which may be tight because of Loctite.Pull the board and place it a new posistion.
The mount has a locating dowel.
