Great to hear of all the good reports on these businesses. I went ahead and placed the order last night. I got a confirmation order immediatly. This morning I got an email from them that stated, "Hi,
We received your order information. Sorry, we do not have all the items in stock. We will get the items on order for you. It usually takes 4 to 6 days to get the items to us as long as the vendor has them available. If there is a problem getting a part we will email. We will email you when the order is shipped.
Additional shipping charges may be required if items are oversize, heavy or multiple shipments requested."
At least they are honest so far. I am a cheap @ss and try to save money anyway I can. I am adding all these businesses on this thread to my favorites for future reference.
I will check prices at both Zanotti's & Chicago HD when I get ready to order something. So far Chicago has always been less expensive (especially on the shipping)
Never had a problem with Zanotti. They keep you informed. Always think of something else I want after I have ordered send them email and they at it to the order. Had good luck with M&M too. Mark always gets back with you.
i ordered a few things through Zanotti's with no problems at all. in fact- the one problem i did have was my fault....i gave my wife the wrong part #. one call to them had it straightened out- in fact, they shipped me the correct part # before i returned the wrong one.
even with the items that they dont have on-hand, itll only take about a week for them to get it (and get it to you).
i think one of the primary reasons they can discount parts is that they have an 'internet only' portion of the store. if you call the main # with a question, theyre adamant about you speaking with someone from the internet-sales dept (which probably consists of one dude with a computer, phone and UPS printer)
'tang.. that is a pretty standard email.. I have received an almost identical one after every order from Zanotti... as someone else stated they tend to carry very little in stock (at least as it relates to internet orders).
BTW - As you see, I am in WA State also and shipping seems quick enough.. once they get the item fromt he MoCo.
