Just curious??
Does the Dyna bikes and the Touring models have the same rubbermount configuration?Is it fair to say a Bob is as smooth as a Ultra classic in general?Not considering the pegs vs floorboards and body position or tires just the amount of vibration between the 2 type H-D's

I know for sure,, my 03 Dyna and 07 Ultra are WORLDS apart!!!

the engines mount similier , the baggers seem smoother because the baggers have so much crap attached to them and weigh so freaken much it dampens the vibration.
If you want to make your dyna as smooth as a bagger just add on a heated /massage sofa for the seat , couple of trunks for saddlebags,windshield complete with washer and wipers, drink holders,ashtray and a couple hundred pounds in weights mounted underneath and stuff like that....oh and a convertable top cause ya might as well be riding in a car anyway and whamo , ya got yerself a tour bus

Had both a 2006 Dyna Super Glide and 2007 Electra Glide Classic this year. With a Mustang 2 up seat on the Dyna I could ride it for long trips without a sore butt. Handled great too. The EG Classic is like riding a big old Caddy. Smooth and comfy. Plenty of storage too. Now I have a 2002 Heritage Softail Classic. It's like a mix of the other two bikes. Great handling and good storage. Rides real smooth too.
