What a beautiful day it was yesterday here in the KC area! Except for a little wind it was ‘riding perfect’. Clear skies and shirt sleeve warm. Took off at 9 AM and drove 35 miles to dealer for his oil change special, (10 bucks more than it costs me to do it myself), so I don’t need to get out a wrench or waist the weather for that little difference. After that half hour side track I couldn’t help putting the new oil through the filter the rest of the day. Rode the back roads and byways with no particular place to end up. From the looks of things so did every other rider in the area. Bikes were everywhere enjoying the weather and the ride. Crazy cagers seemed to take the day off so no close calls and no road crap to avoid. Managed to rack up about 150 miles, and didn’t close in on the home till about 5PM. That is a lot of seat time for me and my sporty but it was fantastic time. Only could have been better to do it with some riding buddies. So much bad crap always going on thought it was time to post a good time!

I'm sure I saw you yesterday while the wife and I was out on 'ole 86er.
Here in MI it was a pleasant day of coolness and a refreshing light north wind, mid 70s .
Headed to a new 7 mi off road trail in the Saginaw Wetlands preserve for the "best nature has to offer". Took the slow ride through miles of beautiful lakes and streams.
I did have a "first time experience". In two areas they supported the roadway and stabilized it with a cobblestone brick. Some smart engineer created deep ridges between the bricks facing upwards and that created a groove that would grab your bike and pitch sideways if you didn't stay in one track or on the brick tops. Try that with a bagger at 7 mph. It helped to speed up and steer straight. Afterwards we laughed about getting trapped between these brick bridges ridges.
Another day my old Harley ran well and reliable too. Memorable ... lol
It was a perfect day in KC, me and the wife put about 100 no where miles on the bike, did the same on Saturday, stopped at a dealer for a free breakfast and off we went with full bellies.
