You don't shop on eBay for fast shipping and excellent customer service, sorry you just don't. You should've kept your old pipes on until you got the new ones. eBay used to be great but now way too many unrealistic buyers. Many times you're buying from a regular Joe whose life isn't buying and selling stuff and running your pipes immediately to ship them. eBay used to be a place to almost barter and get great deals, now it is full of shifty sellers and impossible to please, want something for nothing wal-mart shoppers.
My problem is that, while I could probably save money, I like the instant satisfaction of walking into a store and grabbing something. I pay more, but I don't have to wait.
Are good deals to be found on ebay, even these days but pay attention and read .. And forget being in a hurry to receive it cause ain't gonna happen ..
Most of my EBay purchases have shipped within 2 days. Out of my 40 transactions I only had a couple that waited til Thursday to ship something I bought on Sunday.
I knew about American Classic Motors from here on the forum and ordered knowing (and not caring,) that my item ( alignment pins,) was quickly shipped or not.
Wouldn't ya' know it, I got it in 2 days. They must have had it in stock.
Sorry for your inconvenience, you'll remember them next time.
If I read your OP correctly, you went with an E-Bay deal to save $100. You paid $66 shipping so you really only saved $34. No way I would wait 10-14 days to save $34. Just my opinion. Hope the new pipes work out well for ya.
The big problem as already stated was these guys sell the stuff but actually don't have it.
When I purchased my slip-ons I had to wait two weeks cause they didn't have them and sent me a shipping label but nothing was shipped. Took some nasty messages to get it and when I did they had chips but I didn't send them back I used them and fixed them and NEVER would buy from them again.
So if I see something I ask if they have them in stock or do they have to be drop shipped and I usually get the "we have to get them from another warehouse".
I would rather buy from online retailers then Ebay.

Well. I would have never sold the pipes without the new ones, that's your fault, In the listing what is the ship g time frame? If it's within spec , what's the prob? And do t forget mo day was a holiday and the east coast got slammed by Irene,
