Same for every track day I've ever done, but I've never seen one that was properly applied come loose.

I was pretty angry when I saw where the weights were put on. This winter I'm putting a bike table in the garage and I'm done paying people money to do half *** work. I don't mind paying when I feel like the work was done right and I don't have to go back.

I don't want to say who it is until I can go back over on Tuesday. At this point, I want the money I paid for the balance back and I'll take it somewhere else to balance the wheel. I may go with dynabeads since I have no issues without weights.

I've done all my own work with a simple craftsman bike jack.

I've always wanted a real bike lift, but the jack has served me well for many years.

Are tables secure with just the front wheel being clamped?

Dyna beads went into my front and rear tires. Seem to be working well.

Yeah, they are pretty darn secure.

My buddy has one a few towns over, I have used it for a few jobs, you lock up that front wheel, and the bike can't go anywhere.

If you want added stability, you can add a few tie down straps too, but even the HD shop near me, if you look at their setup, they just roll the bike onto the table, lock up that front wheel and get to work.

Thinking about buying a Road Glide this spring. I think I'll just use the beads and move on. My Deuce is in perfect condition. I really want some bags and a radio. I have been riding long enough now to care a lot more on how comfortable I am. My Deuce with the 3 inch ext and stirrups has been great.

I plan on just doing all my own work from now on. I was a GM tech a million years ago and don't mind getting dirty.
