Took me 6 hours to install Intiminators in my Road King, but I'm slower than most. I gotta believe that someone who's done a lot of front end work can knock it out a lot faster, say 2-3 hours.
Have you found an HD Dealer willing to install the Intiminators?
No, it’s as easy as changing the fork springs. Unscrew the fork caps, pull the spacers, pull the springs, drain your oil, fill with new oil, drop in the Intiminators, replace the springs, replace the spacers and install the fork caps and you're done. Some people also cut the spring spacer the same length as the Intiminator takes up to keep the same fork sag.
My question as well. And why a stealership with $75 an hour (or more) labor? Some people here are crazy! We're talkin' Harley motorcycles. Nothing exotic about them.
