Im getting so tired of the conditions of the roads during road construction. It seems there is no concern about motorcycles riders. Some of the roads are uneven more than an inch, running down the road. Hitting that at night, during a rain would be a hazard. And I understand that there is no legal action if you do lose control. Just venting.
The traffic cone is the State flower here in Nevada. Cones are on almost every road in the city (no, I'm not exaggerating).
Many streets have been torn up for over a year with no people working on them. They tore up the streets then went out of of business. Apparently, they took the $Millions of $dollars of Obama 're-build America' tax-payer funded stimulus plan money and ran off with it....
At least there they are doing something to fix the roads. Here in NY, there's no money, so they've pretty much stopped repairing the roads. An increasing number of roads here aren't fit to ride on at all.
Going on three years now a two mile stretch of highway near me being expanded from 2 to 3 lanes each way. There are 10 or more bridges and 4 exits/onramps being rebuilt. To keep the dust down around the construction, they dump water all over the road all day freaking day long......yeah, thanks for the mud bath faukers!!!

Absolutely, they have just got around to grinding a few of the frost heaves out of I-81 just in time for winter so it won't tear up their plows as bad. Key word here is a "few"...there is still at least 20-30 heaves in between Cortland and Syracuse (I attempted to count them one night) that are literally like parking lot speed bumps that you hit while going ~65mph. Just wonderful...
There's a section down around Abilene, Tx., on 277 that is very bad. It was like rain grooves, except the ridges and grooves are huge and very deep. It was all I could do to maintain control until I got slowed way down. On the way back, I slowed down to about 35 (speed limit was still 65 mph there) and used my 4way flashers to keep the cages off me.
