Damn. I think everybody I tip is getting paid to do a job. Let's see: waitress, motel maid, bartender, barber, dog groomer, cab driver, the list is long. Mechanic? Not unless he has really gone above and beyond doing me a favor. Hell, he may be making more than me.

I consider 6 bucks for "SHOP FEES" to be MORE than enough tip.

Looks like the replies are overwhelming, no tip. I agree. If you're a frequent customer and they know you by name, then maybe a few pizzas, once in a while. But, I wouldn't want them expecting a tip every time I came in.

I haven't. But now that you bring it up, I'm going to go to the dealer today and tell him I forgot to tip hime last time it was serviced. I will give him something nice, like cash. I don't know the guy real well, but I think he will like this. Most everyone likes to be appreciated for what they do.

I don't tip them as they don't see my bike,but I do order parts a lot..Usually they have an office party and I always donate a bottle of booze or something nice for the Holidays..
