Default source for fastner caps
Anyone know of another source for black fastner caps other than hot toppers?

Go on Ebay. I believe I was snoopin around there and saw another brand. Can vouch for the quality though

I saw that and just emailed the seller. They are 1/3 the price of hot toppers.

I buy quite a bit of stuff off ebay. Some really good deals, but there's a lot of crap too.

I emailed the seller to ask about the "must be installed with silicone" comment. I asked if the caps had a thing inside like the hot toppers or was silicone mandatory. His response was as follows..."if you want them to stay on the bike when riding then silicone is required. I have never seen the inside of "Hot Toppers" so I do not know if it is the same."

Silicone.....NO!
Not knowing your competion....DUMB!
Asking questions and doing research before purchase......PRICELESS!
