Question Rev limiter

Does anyone know if a 2001 EG Classic has a rev limiter? If so, when would it kick in?

Thanks for the help

I wanna say either 5500 or 5800. Kinda just guessing though.

If I remember it's 5500 stock. Might be 5300 though. Been a while.

if it hurts it to hit the rev limiter, i am in trouble. i hit it daily, in at least the first three gears, makes for awesome launches and quick shifting, no clutch, just bump the shifter right as the limiter cuts in.. the engineers put it there for a reason. if the engine wont stay together at the factory limiter, there is some serious design flaws. my jap bikes will run all day for hundreds of miles at the limiter, which by the way is over two times what the HD is set at.
