Assuming you're on the level. My dealership gave me the "skate" theory when I asked about synthetic oil. Over time and some reading here and some writing in American Iron I realised my dealer had a stand on this that was off. You can check previous polls. A lot like Amsoil. I've always been partial to Mobil 1. I honestly noticed a performance difference with the Mobil 1 20-50 V-Twin, (butt dyno), and that's my choice. My local Wal-Mart started carrying it and cheaper recently. So for me, availablilty and quality I say Moble 1 V-Twin.

ya know what amazes me more than the number of "best oil" threads?... In spite of all the complaints about them, despite how many are in the archives, they still manage more responses than any other subject, that I have noticed!! Always the same arguments,claims, opinions,rational, but by golly, I'm gonna answer it again!! I just think its funny, and just AN OBSERVATION, no being overcritical, bring on the oil wars!!! bet this gets 100 replies!!
