I like the table idea, I'm looking to do something like that also... But, maybe that ol' V-Twin you have could be fitted into a custom golf cart. Black and orange paint, chrome wheels, the whole bit.
I would like to build a bar stool go cart with an evo engine. Even considered adding a big oil cooler with electric fans. Have one that ducts across the jugs and the other move air over the oil cooler. Wheelie bar, back rested bucket bar stool, wide tires in the back for stability.

That's a cool looking table. For the top maybe you could use two sheets of glass and put pictures of the rides you've gone on when the engine was in your bike. Of course putting the engine if it's not blown in a bar hopping bobber isn't a bad idea either
why would you do that, was it totally blown or what? I can only see doing that with
a toasted engine, not a running one...
It will look nice when done, great conversation piece.
Engine wasn't blown or hurt in any way, I'm building something bigger. Not interested in selling it, don't need the money, don't want to just slap it in a corner of the garage. So a conversation piece seemed like a good thing to do.
I like the ideal I think I would section off part of the bottom of the table and get more glass cut to seal the engine from dust make an air tight chamber so it wouldnt get moisture or dust on it .

If I had a spare Harley engine, I'd be too busy looking at rolling chassis and frames to answer. There would be a cool hand-built custom in my near future.
That is the exact spot I find myself in.. I caught a great deal on an S&S T111 and had it put in my 2000 Road King.. Some day I will find a Road Glide that needs an engine and a new home..
