Don't ever wear a full faced helmet that doesn't have a shield unless you like bugs getting in where you can't get them out. Crawling into your ear or a stinging your face. Rain is another issue. JMO
I've had Bell's, Shoei's, HJC's Simpson's and Arai's . . . and I have had the distinct honor and pleasure to field (or asphalt) test more than one, both with motorcycles and with road racing cars.
If you kind of like your face the way it is now, and you enjoy seeing things? A full face Snell approved helmet with a shield is always a good choice . . . beyond that . . . your call!
I love the Scorpion EXO 1000. It has a fog free outer shield and a flip down internal sun shield for when you need a little extra sun protection. The are slowly being replaced buy the 1100 series which has the same features.
