I clicked the wrong answer (for me) in the poll.. I was thinking back to my days of no passing lamps and I rode with brights on all the time. Now, I run low 99% of the time with passing lamps on. Brights only when on a long stretch with no traffic at night.
I think the ones saying they are running highs in the day do not have passing lights, otherwise I think they would be like the rest of us with the passing lights and run low beams so the passing lights would be working.
I had my passing lights wird to my highbeam back in the 80's on my old FLH, These back roads of Louisiana you want to beable to see what kinda varment you are hitting.
Like to be seen both day and night. Put passing/aux lites on the FX for that reason as well as the kits to turn rear directionals to running lights on it and the FL Guy who mentored me oh so many years ago told me to "ride like everyone is out to get you, they are." More lites give me some peace of mind.
